My Background and Approach
As your counselor, I could collaborate with you to build awareness of what you’d like in life, uncover steps on how to achieve your goals, practice acceptance of things you can’t control, and help you live an authentic life. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and people with mood and thought disorders. I use an approach to therapy that puts you in the "driver's seat" of your care. I use a blend of many therapeutic approaches that focus on the whole person and gently guides clients' understanding of thoughts and behaviors that might be making them feel worse or get in the way of their goals.
