I work to support people of all identities. You or your family may need support coping with transitions, grief, or creating sustainable relationships. I also offer group therapy. I understand that our voice feels small at times and that life circumstances beat us down to allow stress to build. Let's seek, notice, and create wellness in your life.
My Background and Approach
Experiences may be better processed through various forms of human expression. We can find what works for you. Supporting you in trusting your current skills and befriending your power to explore your true self is important to me. I have experience bringing expressive arts into therapy and work from a Person-Centered lens with an emphasis on Relational-Cultural Therapy. I will practice radical empathy, creating a non-judgemental space so that all parts of yourself can feel invited into the therapeutic journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in therapy. I am in therapy and promote it wholeheartedly. Your most raw humanness is welcome in sessions. For 10+ years I have been competing in high-level athletics and still do; both drive my ability to build resiliency and connections. When I’m not wearing my therapist hat I am probably sewing, playing Ultimate Frisbee, farming, hanging out with my family, exploring myself through art, or lying on the ground outside.
