Natiya Lozano (she/her/hers)

I have a a Master’s degree from Columbia Chicago, in Dance Movement Therapy and Counseling. I also hold a second Master’s degree in Communication from Northwestern University. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Registered Dance Movement Therapist. I have experience working in both residential treatment and outpatient private practice where I specialized are mood disorders and trauma. I also offer dance movement therapy groups.

I believe that when you heal your mind, body and spirit you optimize your ability to heal your whole self. As a Dance Movement Therapist, I will assist you in developing a new relationship to yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually by assisting you in reestablishing your relationship with your body, through the use of verbal and nonverbal communication. I believe movement and learning to understanding your body will help you find your way to feeling better. I integrate creativity, traditional talk therapy and movement based interventions to assist you in tapping into your own creativity, empowerment and truest form of your authentic self.
