About My Clients
Many of my clients are the people everyone else depends on. They're the responsible child, the caretaker, the fixer, the peacekeeper, or the person who always seems to have it together. They often struggle with anxiety, chronic stress, dysfunctional family dynamics, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, chronic pain, or the feeling that they've lost themselves while taking care of everyone else. They're ready for support that feels honest, practical, and real.
My Background and Approach
Most of my career has been spent in community mental health, where I worked with people facing everything from everyday stress and relationship challenges to severe mental health concerns and crisis situations. That experience taught me that no two people heal the same way and that therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all process. Clients often describe me as direct, honest, and genuinely human. I won't pretend to have all the answers, and I won't rush you through your process. What I will do is show up fully, listen carefully, and help you understand what's happening beneath the surface. I have a particular interest in family dynamics, codependency, enmeshment, chronic illness and pain, and helping people navigate the grief that can come from letting go of who they thought they were supposed to be. Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, build practical tools that fit your life, and create meaningful, sustainable change. My goal is to help you feel more grounded,
My Values as a Therapist
My values as a therapist are integrity and authenticity. I believe people do their best healing when they stop trying to become who they think they should be and start getting to know who they already are. Not the "perfect" version of you. Not the cousin you're compared to at family parties. Just you, as you are. I show up to therapy as myself, bringing years of experience, practical tools, and genuine curiosity about your story. My goal is to create a space where you can stop pretending, start being honest about what you're carrying, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.
