My Background and Approach
I graduated from NC State University with my Masters in Social Work and received my License in Social Work in the state of Illinois. I have over 2 years of experience helping adults and families in crisis, specifically those experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. In sessions, we will navigate your current and past experiences through acceptance, awareness, and a non-judgmental approach. With a trauma-informed lens, I will guide you towards your inner calm, compassion, and confidence that has always been with you. We will work to identify what feelings and behaviors are holding you back from achieving your inner peace and wholeness. I utilize an integrative and holistic approach, incorporating mindfulness and somatic approaches.
