About My Clients
Are you feeling stuck or trapped? Do you have overwhelming feelings of sadness or helplessness? Are you feeling anxious or worrying most of the time? Are you engaging in unhealthy behaviors as a way to cope? Do you have difficulty facing everyday challenges or focusing on work or studies? I specialize in and work primarily with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, disordered eating, and anger management. I meet my client’s where they are at.
My Background and Approach
I work with the whole client, body, mind, and spirit, to facilitate change and achieve emotional balance and well-being. It is a highly individualized, and collaborative course of treatment. I meet my client’s where ever they are at that particular moment. I act as a guide, a support system, and a person who will challenge when I know they are ready to be challenged. For therapy to work well it’s important to feel comfortable with that person’s personality, approach, and style. Only then can you feel comfortable being completely honest about your thoughts and feelings. I envision individuals making positive healthy changes by focusing on becoming more conscious of mental states, and using this increased awareness to guide their mental states in a better, less destructive direction. Through the use of integrative, mind-body approaches, individuals recognize their capacity for self-awareness, self-knowledge, and their innate capacity for igniting self-healing processes.

I believe that each person has within them the tools to heal and sustain that healing. I believe in the capacity for change.
