About My Clients
I understand what it’s like to feel unsure and anxious about how to manage the pressures circulating around you, or pressures that are self-imposed. I can empathize when one is trying to find their voice for themselves and in their relationships, and am passionate about healing generational trauma. We will investigate past and present relationship dynamics to identify unhelpful patterns and belief systems, as a means to stop the cycle.
My Background and Approach
As a way to lessen the pressure, I enjoy using humor and metaphors, along with boundaries and challenging with compassion, to emphasize safety, trust, rapport, and respect in this space. During the span of our work together, the hope is to reach a greater understanding of yourself, as a foundation for developing a healthier relationship with yourself and others; the goal is to be in the driver's seat of the car, not a passive rider.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Our capitalistic society makes it feel like we have to check a certain amount of boxes in many facets of our lives. This has trickled down to us not feeling "good enough" as we are. Doing my own healing has allowed me to see that you have the power to create your own truth(s) or narratives about how you want to live your life, in spite of the noise around you. These truths can be scary to unravel, but I am honored to be a witness and guide to finding how you can feel comfortable and safe, just as you are.
