About My Clients
All my clients have two things in common. They have at least one neurodivergency and have experienced trauma. Regardless of age, clients who find me are driven to learn about their unique identity, break family patterns, and challenge culturally taught notions of what it means to be a "good" person. When our time together comes to an end, clients are more knowledgeable about themselves and people around them, gained self-acceptance, and tools to navigate and experience all that life has to give.
My Background and Approach
Having worked in many settings ranging from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to community mental health to private practice, I have learned to tailor my approach and skills to meet the needs of my clients. I use an eclectic approaching meaning I tailor how I interact with you based on your individual needs and styles. Sometimes that mean education and learning, trauma processing, parts or inner child work, or processing experience through verbal, written or other means. As a lifelong learner, I stay up to date on current research whether that is through reading research articles or attending trainings related to my client's needs and experiences.
