I'm here to help you steer through these challenges, whether it's dealing with relationship ups and downs, becoming a communication expert, or finding your calm amidst anxiety and depression. My approach is all about you—I use a person-centered, humanistic method along with CBT and DBT techniques to make sure our sessions are impactful and engaging.
My Background and Approach
The first step in healing is searching for help. Although contacting a therapist can feel scary, it is a huge milestone toward feeling better. Please reach out for consultation at any time and I will get back to you shortly. I look forward to potentially working together! I can assist with a variety of concerns including managing relationships, improving communication and self-regulation to managing generalized anxiety and depression. Working from a person-centered, humanistic perspective, supplemented with CBT and DBT techniques, I aim to help clients feel heard and validated in their struggles. To me, respect and understanding are foundational to helping clients heal. I believe that meeting each client where they are is so important in the therapeutic process, considering factors such as race, gender, and socioeconomic status. I would describe my approach as warm and conversational (if I do say so myself!).
