About My Clients
I work with a diverse range of clients across all identifiers, including individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, anxiety, and relationship dynamics. My clients are often seeking a space where they feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow. Together, we explore strengths, clarify goals, and develop skills that extend beyond therapy into everyday life.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe therapy is an active, collaborative process. The therapeutic environment offers a unique opportunity to share, confront, and enhance parts of ourselves while discovering deeper skills and capacities. I strive to model transparency, boundaries, care, and healthy support systems. My approach integrates solution-focused and narrative therapy, helping clients recognize their expertise in their own stories while addressing patterns that no longer serve them. I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, supporting concerns ranging from intimacy and sexual identity to communication and anxiety management. I value challenging dialogue in a safe environment as a way to foster insight and lasting growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to honoring the unique experiences each client brings into therapy. I recognize the importance of culture, gender, race, sexual orientation, and all other identifiers, and I believe in creating space for dialogue that acknowledges their impact on our lives and relationships. Beyond the therapy room, I am passionate about community, wellness, and creativity. I have developed group spaces that encourage honest conversation and mutual growth, and I also engage in music and art as outlets for self-expression and reflection. For me, therapy and creativity are both ways of deepening connection to ourselves and others.
