My Background and Approach
We are a group practice with offices in Orem and SLC, offering individual, couples/relational, family, and group therapy — plus teletherapy sessions. Our team of licensed and associate therapists brings a wide range of specializations, united by a commitment to social justice-informed, culturally humble care. We work with diverse individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ identity, religious faith crises transitions and expansions, healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, eating concerns and body image, sexual health, and more. We proudly affirm BIPOC communities, nerurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ folx, and those exploring ethical non-monogamy or alternative relationship structures. Our therapists draw from approaches including ACT, IFS, EFT, DBT, CBT, Self Determination, Narrative Therapy, Feminist Multicultural, trauma informed, and somatic therapies — tailoring treatment to each person. Feedback-informed care guides our work. We welcome you as you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At Progressive Paths, our work is rooted in six core values: Compassion: We walk alongside you through suffering, bearing witness to your pain and resilience so you don’t carry your heaviest burdens alone. Affirming Care: We celebrate your identities as sacred — your gender, sexuality, faith journey, race, body, and neurological self — helping you move from surviving toward thriving. Equity: Justice is foundational. We seek to integrate awareness of power, privilege, and systemic oppression to make therapy a process for personal and collective liberation. Warmth: Healing happens in genuine human connection. We offer a soft place to land and a sturdy place to grow, met with kindness and care. Intentionality: We move with purpose and conscious care, staying deeply present to every nuance of you — fiercely hopeful about who you are becoming. Growth: We facilitate courageous, values-driven awakenings toward authentic identity, meaningful relationships, and a life lived with intention.
