About My Clients
Dr. Mark Bowman has worked in a variety of settings. Thus, he has worked with many Dual-Diagnosed clients. He has worked with many individuals struggling with an addiction or having multiple addictions. He loves providing marital counseling ,family counseling, and pre-marital counseling. He has worked in a variety of settings and has worked with many issues of life that have been presented to him in the therapeutic process. Thus, there is not much he hasn't treated over the years of his work.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Mark Bowman is a Christian first and foremost. His approach is to incorporate his walk with God in all that he does and says. He does not push his faith upon others. He does talk about his faith and trust because that is His foundation based upon the Truth found in God's Word. His aim is to glorify God in his approach to problem resolution and to steer individuals towards developing an intimate walk with the Lord Jesus. He utilizes C.B.T.(Cognitive Behavior Therapy), Motivation Interviewing, Reality Therapy, and Rational Emotive Therapy in his approach to problem resolution.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Dr. Mark Bowman is an ordained pastor, a therapist, a believer, and a satisfied customer with my faith in Christ. I believe that Christ died on the Cross for the remission of all mankind's sins, that he went to the Cross, died, and was raised three days later. I believe He is our ongoing intercessor with God and because of His death upon the Cross a person can have a new life based in hope.
