About My Clients
My Clients are brave individuals who want better coping skills, to manage their anxiety so that it doesn't take over their lives, and to create lives filled with meaning and in accordance with their values.
My Background and Approach
I utilize values-based approaches to help my clients live their most fulfilling life. With a particular interest in ACT and DBT, I work to help individuals move toward their desires and goals confidently. I provide clients with tools for empowerment and self-assurance so that they have the ability to feel their very best. It is important to me that my clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by creating a space that is led by compassion and understanding. I believe in the power of personal narratives and in allowing each individual to tell their story free of judgement, shame, or guilt. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I also have experience working with adults though life and vocational transitions. I specialize in working with clients who face anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and ADHD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I look forward to helping my clients every step of the way, from identifying the cause of each challenge, to implementing behavioral and thought related changes, so that they can live a life filled with meaning that is consistent with their values. I am LGBTQIA+-Allied, BIPOC-Allied, and Body Positive.
