My Background and Approach
I'm so glad you stumbled upon my profile - I'd love to work with you to take steps towards your ideal life. I know everyone has the potential to create the life they want while still appreciating their present experience. I do this by creating a nonjudgemental environment that creates a sense of safety and dare I say enjoyment in your therapeutic journey. I also incorporate a mix of therapeutic techniques including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and exposure work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the core foundation of therapy is creating an alliance with clients in which they are able to feel comfortable, safe, and supported along their journey. I assist clients by understanding their story through empathy and compassion and acknowledging that no one path looks the same – I understand the importance of meeting clients where they are in their lives.
