About My Clients
Are you a First Responder? Have you noticed yourself having a hard time managing overwhelming emotions, or feeling anxious, distracted, irritable, and unable to finish certain tasks? When thinking about a distressing event, does it feel as if you're experiencing it for the first time? These symptoms are typical after experiencing a traumatic event, as your brain works to protect itself. Together we will work to re-process your trauma.
My Background and Approach
Lyndsay is credentialed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts, as well as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR). She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Lesley University. She has been in the mental health field since 2015. Lyndsay is also an artist; her favorite mediums include black and white photography, collage, and pen and ink drawings. Lyndsay treats First Responders who have experienced trauma, using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). This is a short-term therapy, often providing relief from symptoms in 1-6 sessions.
