About My Clients
I work with individuals experiencing mood disorders. Additionally, I work with adults who present with cognitive changes in the context of neurological, medical, and psychiatric conditions. Areas of clinical interest include LGBTQ+ identities, ADHD/learning disorders, dementia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, autoimmune disorders, and psychiatric disorders.
My Background and Approach
I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University with a specialization in Neuropsychology. I completed my internship at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, with an emphasis in neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and psychotherapy. I then completed my fellowship in adult and geriatric neuropsychology at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. In treatment, I collaborate with clients and their families to work through difficult transitions by implementing evidence-based approaches to cognitive rehabilitation and psychotherapy. These approaches include unconditional positive regard, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practice.
