About My Clients
Throughout my experience I have had the pleasure to work with adolescents and adults in community mental health settings. I enjoyed being a part of the healing journey of individuals struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and self-esteem. I am here to offer support and work as a team with individuals allowing them to be vulnerable and explore different skills that will encourage progress.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Counseling at Roosevelt University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Emotional support is a basic human need. My aim is to continue creating a safe and comfortable space that will allow individuals to heal and thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Spanish speaking counselor. I believe that language opens the door for creating and strengthening relationships. As a Bilingual counselor (English/Spanish), I want to provide support to a diverse population in an environment where individuals are able to communicate their needs and express themselves in their native language.
