I know that life can often be painful and frightening in a changing and uncertain world. I respect the natural existential turbulence that arises in each unique stage of life. In the light of that often-heavy backdrop, I believe that your life is precious and irreplaceable. My therapeutic orientation stems from a conviction that, while therapy is a partnership between therapist and client, you are the expert on your own life. I am passionate about creating an emotionally safe space where you can develop deeper intimacy with yourself, learn to embrace your wholeness, leverage your own inherent wisdom, and then choose your path forward from a place of empowerment. I am eager to walk with you into a life of vibrance, self-compassion, and rich meaning.

I believe that therapy is at its best when it is used as a tool for liberation. Therapy alone cannot address the structural injustices that often contribute to so much trauma and emotional harm, but it can help clients of various marginalized identities protect themselves from internalizing oppression, make rich meaning of their experiences, and develop strategies for maximizing their joy and flourishing despite the barriers they face. At the very same moment, I also believe there are some human experiences that transcend all identity barriers. These shared experiences deeply connect us all, even as they can be painful and raw; and they allow us to affirm our shared dignity, even in the midst of struggle. I want to help clients tap into the profound richness of their lives by leaning into the uniqueness of their own experience while understanding their deep connectedness with others.
