About My Clients
I help ADHD, Autistic (and AuDHD) adults and couples to build a life that is adapted to your needs. My clients are tender-hearted, creative, and insightful people who tend to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders (and wow, there's a lot of weight on our shoulders right now!). We address issues like burnout, shame and grief about late diagnosis, relationship challenges, executive functioning skills, and how to like yourself just as you are.
How I Can Help You
In session, I’m an engaged therapist. I ask questions, share resources, teach skills, guide meditation practices, and offer genuine feedback. I have a knack for explaining the science of being human to clients in a way that they can directly apply to their lives. I appreciate that there is always more to learn. I help clients to find their own voice and build more genuine relationships. Together, we work to understand what factors are currently causing distress and create a workable path towards change. I strive to create an environment of warmth and authenticity, and bring my own sense of compassion, humor, and non-judgmental curiosity into the therapeutic relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I also show up with my own lived experience as a queer, AuDHD (ADHD & Autistic), chronically ill and disabled person. I want joy and true equality for the transgender community, and am trained to provide letters for gender-affirming care. I care deeply about intersectional issues of social and racial justice, climate crisis resilience, and approach therapy through an anti-oppressive lens. I am a member of the COVID-Conscious Therapists Directory, and continue to advocate for greater public awareness and research into LONG COVID, ME/CFS, and related conditions.
