About My Clients
Every child deserves a place where they feel safe to be themselves. I work with children, adolescents, and their families who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, trauma, family changes, and everyday stressors. I enjoy partnering with families to better understand each child's unique strengths while building practical tools that help children feel more confident, connected, and successful at home, school, and in their relationships.
My Background and Approach
I believe meaningful change happens through strong relationships built on trust, empathy, and understanding. Rather than viewing behaviors as problems to fix, I seek to understand what children are communicating through their emotions and experiences. By seeing the world through the eyes of the child, we can identify their strengths while helping them develop new skills to navigate life's challenges. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate, drawing from play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based interventions, trauma-informed care, and family collaboration. I believe caregivers are an essential part of the healing process, and I work closely with families to create practical strategies that foster emotional growth, resilience, and stronger connections both inside and outside the therapy room.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child has unique strengths and the ability to grow when they are surrounded by understanding, encouragement, and supportive relationships. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where children and families feel accepted, respected, and empowered. I value curiosity over judgment, collaboration over criticism, and believe that small, consistent moments of connection can create lasting change for children and the people who love them.
