About My Clients
Many of my clients battle mood disorders, daunting life transitions, relationship issues, as well as cultural, LGBTQ identity struggles, grief/loss, PTSD, & body image discomfort/disordered eating. It's not just you. I have a genuine appreciation for all kinds of lifestyles & strive to help others cultivate their own version of what it means to truly embrace healthy life choices without sacrificing your sense of individuality.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my M.A. in Clinical Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2008, and my undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 2006. In 2011, I officially acquired my professional license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois (License #: 180.007897). In addition to clinical private practice psychotherapy, I have experience in many different facets of mental health care and have provided professional clinical consultation, clinical assessment, as well as psychoeducational information/talks/presentations to schools, community mental health centers, and non-profit organizations in Chicago and beyond. I continue to utilize these skills and experiences to enhance my ability to provide the best mental health care possible to my community as well as further normalize the process of reaching out for support and treatment for achieving and maintaining mental, emotional, & behavioral wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
No matter the issue, I am committed remaining unbiased, empathetic, & focused on helping you discover ways to independently manage daily struggles & actively work toward living a life full of joy & purpose.
