About My Clients
My goal in therapy is to help you live your life to its fullest potential. Whether your concerns consist of anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, or general life stress, I am here to help you achieve a life that is fulfilling. However, I place a great emphasis on the idea that anyone can benefit from therapy. There is no concern or problem that is "to small" or "not worthy" enough to start your therapeutic journey.
My Background and Approach
I believe in an integrative approach to therapy, utilizing a variety of therapy modalities that are empirically-based, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness. I emphasize the importance of creating a collaborative and compassionate space in which I can personally tailor interventions for your desired goals and lead you to finding greater happiness and success in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Starting your therapeutic journey takes courage, strength, and vulnerability. I believe that anyone can benefit from therapy. Life problems are not a competition, and there are no clear-cut rankings that decide whether someone’s problems are worthy enough to start asking for help. Being culturally sensitive to the needs of diverse clientele is important to me, and I welcome opportunities to gain knowledge about clients' background and spiritual practices. I place a high priority on understanding you from a comprehensive perspective, emphasizing how your presenting concerns impact your different life roles and how past events affect you now.
