About My Clients
I’m passionate about helping adults learn how to cope with uncertainty and stress, while gaining insight into themselves and their relationships in the process. Many of my clients find this process helpful at times of major transition–freshly graduated from college, new relationships, and changes to their family. The majority of my practice focuses on anxiety, relationship struggles, and the challenges and joys of parenthood and the perinatal period.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in an eclectic therapeutic orientation, primarily pulling from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a psychodynamic approach. I have a special interest in working with parents-to-be and new parents. You can expect that our work together will focus on your strengths as well as your challenges, include practical strategies to manage your symptoms, and will include exploration of your most important and impactful relationships. I have over a decade of experience working with individuals in the childhood years to middle age, with recent specific training in perinatal mental health, the treatment of trauma, clinical supervision, and grief support.
