About My Clients
I am deeply committed to promoting mental wellness through culturally sensitive and socially conscious care. My mission is to create a therapeutic space where individuals from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and supported. I strive to offer a practice that actively challenges barriers to access by fostering inclusion, equity, and healing. I want each person who seeks counseling to know they are entering a space rooted in compassion, empathy, understanding, and cultural humility.
My Background and Approach
I have over six years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, and couples through a variety of life transitions and emotional challenges. My work is grounded in emotion-focused, multicultural, internal family systems, and person-centered approaches. I am to prioritize creating a nonjudgmental and affirming space where clients can explore their emotions, identities, and relationships with compassion and clarity. I specialize in supporting clients navigating grief and loss, relationship dynamics, identity exploration (including race, gender, sexuality, and neurodivergence), and the lasting impacts of trauma. I also have experience working with ADHD, Autism, and mood disorders, offering insight and tools that are both clinically informed and tailored to your lived experience. I bring a strong commitment to affirming the realities of systemic oppression and how this can influence mental health, relationships, and lived experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to therapy is rooted in EFT, multicultural, person-centered, CBT, and sex therapy theoretical frameworks. I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and I am here to help assist you along your path to mental wellness. In my practice, I prioritize creating a brave, non-judgmental space where you can hopefully feel comfortable and we can collaborate on achieving your therapeutic goals.
