Don't just tell me the difficult things you're moving away from. I want to hear what you're moving towards. ACT looks at how individuals can build psychological flexibility by rooting in the present moment and connecting their actions to their behaviors.

Fully trained by EMDRIA-approved consultants at the Humanitarian Assistance Program, Jordan has found EMDR to be a relatively fast and effective way to treat trauma and other disorders. Jordan has used this modality to help everyone from adult refugees to child survivors of community violence.

As a survivor and long-time advocate of trauma-informed practices, Jordan knows first hand how disruptive PTSD and other stress-related disorders can be. In addition to traditional symptoms of trauma such as difficulty in relationships, intrusive thoughts and memories, and mood disturbances, Jordan has also received additional training in dissociation -- a rarer but still not uncommon survival mechanism which causes a person to feel disconnected from themself and/or the world around them.

Trained in EMDR and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Jordan is equipped to treat the tricky kinds of depression that all too often don't respond to your typical CBT or talk therapy approaches. Having developed a meaningful life despite her own struggles with depression, Jordan is familiar with the ebs and flows of chronic depression (dysthymia) and also episodic depression (major depressive disorder).

Jordan teaches psychedelic harm reduction and integration and values HR it as a practical, client-centered approach. They support people in making safer choices, reducing risks, and finding healthier ways to navigate substance use and other behaviors realistically in their own lives.

As a person with several complex physical health challenges, I know what it's like to feel minimized, misunderstood, and have my power stripped away. In addition to my lived experience, I bring with me professional experience from completing a graduate thesis on chronic pain through a multicultural lens, specific training on pain management, and ongoing case consultation with other therapists in the field.
