About My Clients
My clients are 18+ individuals whose needs are in academic and career advising, life transitions (i.e. grief, breakups etc.), peer relationships, stress management, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, obtaining accommodations, and general “adulting”. They benefit from evidence-based and integrative therapy modalities in a safe and nonjudgemental environment. They are driven and amazing individuals who just need that extra "oomph" to create the lifestyles they want.
My Background and Approach
As a clinician, I will help you navigate your path to self-actualization, personal growth, and increased well-being. Through collaboration, respect, and humor, I will empower you to reach your goals by building your confidence and improving your day-to-day. I use evidence-based and integrative therapy modalities to help young adults overcome stress, self-doubt, and dissatisfaction that comes with the pressure to excel academically, professionally, and socially. I use techniques from ACT, DBT, CBT and integrative modalities personalized to the client. I have previous experience across settings including high school counseling, university academic advising, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that increasing knowledge and constant work on the self are key to leading valuable and meaningful lives. I think it is key to look at an individual from a holistic perspective and really work to enhance the day-to-day with basics like mental health, physical health, optimal sleep, nutrition, and movement to really create a life that works for you!
