About My Clients
I specialize in working with late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults, particularly women and gender-diverse individuals navigating autism, ADHD, and identity. Many clients are therapists, artists, empaths, or highly sensitive people in helping professions who are seeking clarity after a recent diagnosis or self-discovery. I provide online adult Autism assessments as well as ongoing therapy for adults facing existential, relational, and identity struggles.
My Background and Approach
'm Dr. Jenny Martin, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in adult Autism assessment for late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults, particularly women and gender-diverse individuals. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent psychologist myself, I bring lived experience alongside clinical training in trauma, correctional, and community mental health settings. My approach is existential, feminist, and psychodynamic, with an emphasis on mindfulness, self-reflection, and self-compassion. I create a warm, culturally attuned space for clients to explore identity and consciousness deeply, often incorporating creative and artistic mediums, drawing on my background in music. Through PsyPact, I'm able to practice online in nearly every state in the US, offering telehealth to location-independent clients and the freedom to connect with best-fit clients beyond geographic limits.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to issues related to social equity, and I strive to continually evolve in my allyship to people of color. I believe that exploring the systemic ways that people experience suffering is an essential part of working towards mental health, and I take an actively anti-racist, anti-xenophobic, anti-sexist, anti-ableist stance in both my therapeutic and personal lives. I do not accept insurance as part of my intention to remove myself and my clients from the grip of insurance dictates. This does mean there is a hefty out of pocket cost. I work with clients to understand their options, such as out of network benefits or using a HSA, to help afford our work. I understand what I am asking of you in terms of your financial investment. I can speak to this more during a consult call, but let me try to summarize: I really bring it in therapy. This work is worth it. You are worth it.
