About My Clients
I work the best with clients that are 18+, all genders. I enjoy working with symptoms of anxiety, depression, those going through life transitions, relationship issues or wanting to improve their self-esteem. I also have a passion for perinatal mental health.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work degree with a concentration in Human Development at Valparaiso University and received my Master of Social Work degree with advanced standing from Aurora University. My clinical background ranges from children and adolescents to adults, with a wide array of mental health disorders. I have volunteered as a crisis counselor for a crisis text line and as a pen pal with people who are currently incarcerated. My approach is warm and empathic to guide you through processing your experiences. We will work through uncomfortable emotions together to overcome barriers that may be keeping you from life satisfaction. I am nonjudgmental in nature and genuine in finding joy in your success.
