About My Clients

I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Clients often seek support for anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem concerns, behavioral challenges, family conflict, grief and loss, and major life transitions. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build healthier coping skills and greater confidence.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in both school-based and clinical mental health settings. I currently work as a school social worker and previously provided therapy in an inpatient behavioral health hospital serving adolescents and adults. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a safe space where clients feel supported while working toward meaningful change. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and trauma-informed care. I also incorporate DBT-informed skills to support emotional regulation and coping. Together, we will identify goals, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop practical tools that support long-term emotional wellness and resilience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. I value a collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy, where clients feel empowered to move at their own pace and define what healing looks like for them. I have seen how mental health challenges, family stress, and life transitions can impact people in many different ways, and I deeply respect the strength it takes to seek support. Experiences of grief, addiction, & major life changes have affected people close to me. This has shaped my empathy and understanding of how complex and personal each person’s story can be. I am especially passionate about supporting clients as they navigate identity development, academic pressure, relationships, & family expectations. I value working with those who are experiencing transitions, stress, or emotional challenges. I believe in the importance of balance, self-care, & finding small moments of grounding in everyday
