About My Clients
You had another anxiety episode during your accountability call. Heart racing, jaw clenching, praying the facilitator doesn’t call on you. Bracing for public embarrassment, you excuse yourself to the bathroom. This isn’t the first time you’ve hidden from humiliation. The world feels like an overwhelming threat, standing in your way to truly connect with family and friends. You long to regain a sense of belonging within your own body and find solace in the work you once loved doing.
My Background and Approach
You can’t change the past, but you can learn to embrace the future. Don’t let anxiety and imposter syndrome win. Allow therapy to provide you clarity for improving your self-confidence, esteem, and decrease your anxiety symptoms. Somatic therapy can help. Call me now for your free consultation, and let’s get started today!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Anyone willing to seek counseling to improve how they show up in the world deserves unconditional positive regard while feeling comfortable and safe in our shared therapeutic environment. Those who are pressured to seek help or just feel hopeless, deserve to have someone believe in them, even if they have difficulty believing in themselves. My counseling philosophy and approach to care is individualistic in nature. As I did while working with people with disabilities, I like to tailor each counseling relationship to suit my clients. This means, I work with you to develop a unique plan to help you reach the goals you set for yourself. Nothing cookie-cutter about it, unless you’re interested in culinary therapy!
