About My Clients
As a proud Latino and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am passionate about providing support for those who are marginalized in our society. Additionally, I am knowledgeable and affirming of kink/BDSM, non-monogamy, and sex work. My counseling approach considers the unique intersections of identity that we all hold while honoring the truth of each person’s lived experience. I strive to be genuine, non-judgmental, and unconditionally supportive no matter what a client bring into session.
My Background and Approach
I strive to support clients in increasing self-awareness, learning new skills, and clarifying meaningful direction. I take an integrative approach to therapy often utilizing elements of Mindfulness, ACT, CBT, and more. I have been trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy an eye-movement based trauma reprocessing therapy. Additionally, I have extensive experience writing letters of support for clients seeking gender affirming medical care. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
With a background in free, community based, and non-profit work, I am passionate about increasing accessibility of quality and multiculturally competent mental health services. In my personal life, I have extensive experience volunteering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to share health information and reduce stigma around mental health conditions. Additionally, I support organizations committed to protecting the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals on a national and local level.
