About My Clients

Are you struggling to get pregnant, experienced multiple miscarriages, or dealing with a reproductive medical system built for the traditional couple? Do you find yourself feeling resentful, angry, and lost when others ask, "when are you going to start a family?" or hear about another pregnancy announcement. Infertility is often an isolating, exhausting, and emotionally taxing road. Support and relief is available. I look forward to walking alongside as you navigate this journey.

My Background and Approach

My own experience with infertility led me to focus on supporting those working to build their families. Tying my education and training with my own insight as an infertility patient, I deepen my role as a therapist for those grappling with the In/Fertility world. My personal story to parenthood has allowed me insight into the emotional, physical, financial, relational, and social struggles that infertility can create in one’s life. Now I focus on supporting those who are going through this uncertain season of their lives. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and my Master's in Social Welfare from UCLA. I'm currently in the Fertility Counseling Postgraduate Course, completed the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Mental Health Professional Group (MHPG) training, and I'm a proud partner and Support Group lead with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

The decision to grow a family is an important transition in adulthood, an expression of your love and commitment to your partner, and a sense of readiness to be a parent. Therefore, the news of an infertility diagnosis is often jarring and disruptive. It strains all aspects of life, testing your emotional wellbeing, sense of resilience, and hope. It's a diagnosis no one plans for in adulthood, the outcome is uncertain with no guarantees and destabilizing for the family or individual. Of course this is the time to seek extra support. We welcome All. Additionally, we recognize those from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities face particular challenges in your family building journey. We see you; we walk with you. We honor your unique struggles of infertility as a person of color. Furthermore, we celebrate families in all forms. We welcome our LGBTQ families and are here to support you.
