About My Clients
Every child experiences the world in their own unique way. I work with children, adolescents, and their families who are navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, behavioral concerns, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Whether your child is struggling at home, school, or with peers, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where they feel understood and empowered. Together, we'll build emotional awareness and strengthen coping skills.
My Background and Approach
I believe children thrive when they feel safe, connected, and genuinely understood. My approach is grounded in the belief that behavior is communication, and I strive to understand the emotions, experiences, and needs beneath a child's behaviors rather than focusing solely on changing them. By meeting children where they are, we can build trust and create meaningful opportunities for growth. My work integrates play therapy, behavioral therapy (CBT and DBT), attachment-based interventions, trauma-informed care, mindfulness and somatic therapy, and close collaboration with parents and caregivers. I believe therapy is most effective when families work together, and I partner with caregivers to build practical strategies that strengthen connection, improve emotional regulation, and support children in every environment where they learn and grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child deserves to feel accepted, valued, and supported for who they are. I strive to create an environment where children and families feel safe bringing their authentic selves into therapy. I value empathy, curiosity, inclusion, and collaboration, and I believe healing happens through strong relationships built on trust and understanding. My goal is to help children and families recognize their strengths while developing the confidence and resilience to navigate life's challenges together.
