About My Clients
We co-create space built on mutual regard and the deconstruction of the “therapist as expert” paradigm. We specialize in identity, gender-expansive individuals, sexuality, poly and kinky folx, who may be experiencing trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, substance use issues, chronic and persistent mental illness and sexual functioning concerns.
My Background and Approach
We are a diverse group of clinicians from many different cultural and racial backgrounds. Human behavior is complex and we use a wide range of treatment modalities. We are trauma informed, strength based, anti-oppression, anti-racist therapists.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe therapy should be available for everyone. We value diversity and the interconnected nature of our selves and the lives we create. We fight racism. We challenge intolerance. We strive to help people feel better, more connected, and more in tune with themselves and those around them. We are dedicated teachers at major Social Work graduate programs in Chicago and we have a vigorous clinical internship program teaching upcoming psychotherapist.
