About My Clients
I welcome individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, family conflict, grief, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. As an active-duty Soldier and Marriage and Family Therapy intern, I value resilience, connection, and feeling heard. I proudly support the LGBTQ+ community and offer an affirming, judgment-free space. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, improve communication, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change that lasts now!
My Background and Approach
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I want you to feel comfortable bringing your real experiences into our work together. Rather than assuming I know what is best for you, I’ll help you explore patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you from where you want to be. As an active-duty Soldier and Marriage and Family Therapy intern, I bring an understanding of resilience, life transitions, relationships, and the challenges that come with balancing multiple roles. I work with individuals, couples, and families, including Veterans and the LGBTQ+ community. My work is guided by Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Depending on your needs, we may uncover relationship patterns, explore the stories shaping your life, recognize existing strengths, and identify practical steps toward change. You set the direction, and I’ll support you as we work toward goals that feel meaningful to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe growth can happen at any stage of life and that our past does not have to determine our future. I value authenticity, compassion, grace, humor, and meeting people where they are. My faith and family are important to me and have shaped how I view perseverance, forgiveness, and connection. As a wife, mother, and active-duty Soldier, I understand that life can get busy, messy, and unpredictable, and sometimes we are simply doing our best with what we have. I am naturally curious about people and enjoy learning about different cultures, backgrounds, relationships, and life experiences. I have a special interest in working with couples and families, Veterans and military families, and the LGBTQ+ community. I believe there is strength in recognizing that something is no longer working and choosing to do something different. I also believe therapy does not always have to feel heavy. There can be room for humor, personality, and real conversations while doing meaningful work.
