About My Clients
Wherever you are on your journey, whatever may be taking place inside your mind, your body, or around you in this moment— welcome. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and those in the LGBTQIA+ community who may be struggling with their identity, relationships, past traumas, and/or anxiety. I tend to work with many artists, folks who struggle with perfectionism and self-worth, and those who identify as highly sensitive or empaths.
My Background and Approach
As a social worker for nearly a decade, my experience includes work in the non-profit and private sectors, including community-based mental health and domestic violence shelters. I ground my practice in values of intersectionality, warmth, and creativity. I use the lens of relational psychodynamics, feminism, and queer theory. Together we will explore your history, patterns, identities, and relationships to better manage your anxiety or depression, reduce shame, and enhance your confidence and sense of self. I feel passionate about ensuring that mental health care can be anti-racist, collaborative, and unique to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in my own ongoing learning and self-reflection. I aspire to bring my authentic self to the therapy space, and invite you to do the same. I hope that together we can bring about greater intention, compassion, and awareness; I hope you feel empowered to live the life of your choosing. I look forward to hearing from you and beginning this next step.
