About My Clients

You are not broken; you are resilient, resourceful, and capable of change. My clients often come to therapy carrying stress, trauma, or patterns they're ready to release, but beneath those struggles lies strength and wisdom. I see therapy as a space to reconnect with that part of you, the one that seeks healing, growth and new possibilities. Together, we'll honor your story and nurture your ability to thrive.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Over the years, I have worked in outpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization settings, walking alongside people through life transitions, recovery, and the challenges of living with complex symptoms. These experiences have shaped me into a therapist who shows up with both compassion and practical tools, always honoring the resilience you already carry. I specialize in complex trauma, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, and adolescent concerns. I am committed to supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients with care that is deeply affirming. My style is collaborative and flexible, drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, person centered therapy, and ERP. Above all, I aim to create a space that is trauma informed, culturally sensitive, and identity-affirming, where you feel safe to be yourself and supported in your growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe our experiences are shaped not only by who we are, but also by the environments and systems we move through. In therapy, I pay close attention to how culture, identity, and lived experiences intersect, because these layers matter in understanding both struggles and strengths. I also believe that knowing who your therapist is can be an important part of feeling safe and connected. I come to this work as a Latine, lesbian, woman/non-binary person and trauma survivor. These parts of my identity shape the empathy and perspective I bring into the room. I am deeply committed to social justice and to creating spaces where voices that are often silenced can be heard. Outside of therapy, I stay grounded through creativity, writing, spirituality, and community. My commitment is to keep learning and unlearning so I can show up fully for those who place their trust in me, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they heal and grow.
