About My Clients
I work with older teens, college students, and young adults navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful people who feel stuck in patterns they don't fully understand. Whether you're struggling with self-doubt, overwhelming emotions, or a sense that something isn't quite right, therapy can help you better understand yourself and create lasting change.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in education and professional theater. Those experiences taught me how to listen deeply, appreciate different perspectives, and understand the stories people tell about themselves. As an educator and executive functioning coach, I worked closely with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, academic stress, and major life transitions. Today, I bring that experience into a warm, collaborative therapy practice grounded in curiosity and genuine connection. While I use evidence-based approaches, I'm especially interested in helping people understand the deeper patterns beneath their struggles. Together, we'll explore not just how to feel better, but why you feel the way you do—building insight that leads to meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe many of the struggles people bring to therapy make sense in the context of the world we live in. We live in a culture that often encourages achievement over connection, distraction over reflection, and certainty over curiosity. It's no surprise that so many people feel anxious, disconnected, or unsure of who they are. Therapy, to me, is more than symptom reduction. It's an opportunity to slow down, make sense of your experience, and reconnect with what gives your life meaning. I don't believe there is a single "right" way to live. Instead, I hope to help you understand yourself more deeply, loosen the grip of old patterns, and build a life that feels more authentic, connected, and genuinely your own.
