Naming how you feel can be overwhelming, especially if your feelings seem too big or complicated to look at right now. By building a warm, trusting relationship, we will create a space where any feeling can be acknowledged, felt, and allowed to pass through. I treat our time together as a collaboration: a chance for us to explore what is scary, joyful, exciting, sad, mundane, mysterious and more in your life.
My Background and Approach
I’m proud to live at the intersection of queer, transgender, Filipinx, and polyamorous experiences. As your therapist, I build on our overlapping or shared experiences as much as I welcome people in all walks of life. I use non-judgmental, anti-oppressive, client-centered lenses while drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and somatic perspectives. Whether you are adjusting to life transitions, building secure attachments, growing self-confidence, or all of the above, I encourage new and existing behaviors and perspectives that enable you to be your personal best.
