About My Clients
I am passionate about working with people with intersectional identities, disabilities, depression, anxiety, intergenerational trauma, challenging life transitions, perfectionism and doubting, and neurodiversity. I am trained in CBT and ERP, and am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I look forward to supporting you as we wade through pain and into hope together.
My Background and Approach
I am a masters level clinician and rehabilitation counselor with over five years of experience in community, governmental and private settings. Becoming a therapist has been a journey of having a foundation of neuroscience and a tapestry of relational support that acknowledges and finds meaning in the experience of the human condition. I have always been curious about the human experience and believe that curiosity and humility that honors your strengths is the foundation of trust. I attempt to bring in a focus on the functional aspects of helping you to get a sense of agency in how you shape your world, and find fulfillment from the relationships, work and community that surrounds you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the process of therapy is a journey of authentic, non-judgmental collaboration. I utilize a culturally sensitive, trauma informed approach that honors the richness and diversity of experiences that you bring into the room. Everyone deserves a space to safely unpack and explore their lives, their values and prioritize their quality of life. Therapy is a moment to reflect on our inherent ability to create change by embracing the process of learning, doing, committing, relearning, and doing again.
