My work as a general psychotherapy practitioner has seen me work enormously well with hard-to-treat patients. Especially those who have failed with previous talk therapy and or medication-assisted psychotherapies. My approach does not simply use talk therapy. I coach, test your brain and apply other investigational methods to understand and address the core basis of what is at the root of the anxiety attack, just waiting, and then deploy a wide range of treatment approaches to address your needs
My Background and Approach
Military veteran, lifelong martial artist, with an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Psychology. Recipient of an earned Master of Sciences [MSc.] degree in applied Sociology. Holder of an earned Master of Science [MSc.] degree in Counseling and Psychometrics. I also hold a Master of Arts [MA] degree in Human and Organizational Development, and read at the dissertation level for a doctorate [PhD] in Human and Organizational Development. I earned doctorate (PhD) in Psychology a counselor. I specialize in addiction assessment and substance abuse treatment. I have been employed as college instructor with responsibilities for training other mental health clinicians. I am trained and credentialed in integrative psychiatric practices. In conventional and alternative medicine for mental health, in neuropsychology and in the application of many neuropsychological technologies, such as neurofeedback, and HeartMath.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I no longer want to subject my clients to managed care. We have switched to a ($300)monthly subscription model. Patients can request to use their insurance. Nationally-qualified forensic assessment and substance abuse counseling professional. Over two decades in the field of applied social and behavioral sciences under my (expanding) belt. Cared for (treated) patients in inpatient, residential, hospital, and out-patient settings on an Individual basis; or as a part of a therapeutic Treatment Team. My treatment approach is eclectic, and integrative. For clients this means that I incorporate the best from nutrition, lifestyle counseling, herbology and applied neuropsychology in my work with patients. I believe that we are unique individuals and that we should approach our work with the highest regard for human beings and with an orientation towards the alleviation of human suffering. Social justice causes have been my passion throughout my personal and professional life.
