About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults who experienced various forms trauma. I also support people in addressing areas of relationships, parenting, life transitions, grief/loss, depression & anxiety. I use relational, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive frameworks rooted in feminist, attachment, systems theories.
My Background and Approach
I am licensed in Illinois, Florida, and Colorado. My approach in therapy is eclectic as it is my belief that every individual is the expert in their life and that no one modality works best for everyone. During our collaborative journey, I may draw from a variety of training in expressive therapies, play/experiential therapy, somatic/movement therapy, EMDR, IFS, DBT, CBT & mindfulness. Using curiosity, humor & my own humanness, I aim to create a safe space so that one’s experiences, emotions, thoughts & resilience can be witnessed and held.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of my clinical work I am an avid surfer and climber. I volunteer with a marine conservation organization and wildlife rehabilitation hospital. Nature and animals has always been a significant part of my life. I am always looking to enhance people's relationship with nature and the other beings we share this vast, beautiful planet with.
