About My Clients
I enjoy working with adults who are interested in entering a therapy journey where they are ready to feel and heal. We all have different stories, different parts of our histories that make us who we are, and sometimes we need someone to listen to us and guide us through challenging experiences. You may be entering college, a young professional beginning your career, a millennial struggling with society's standards, or an adult having relationship conflicts. I am here to guide you.
My Background and Approach
I am here to help adults in need of support during periods of life transition and emotional difficulties. My approach is casual and candid, with a little humor. Therapy is about exploring and learning how to connect to your emotions. I want you to feel comfortable sharing personal information in a safe, comfortable environment, and in an engaging but casual fashion. My approach to therapy is also eclectic. I am drawn to multiple theories of psychotherapy, and I tailor different elements of these theories to your needs. One theory I utilize is psychodynamics, where I take a look at how past experiences you have had while you were younger influence your ability to feel, behave, think, act and connect with others. I also utilize psychoeducation to teach clients how their thinking patterns impact their actions, enabling clients to cope and improve their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is one of the most valuable things one can do to improve their lives and heal. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to that is unbiased. I am a therapist who believes that everyone has a right to therapy services and my goal is to help you live a happy life and work through the challenges in your life.
