About My Clients
Viewing my role in clients’ lives as a privilege, I approach my work with warmth, candor, and a genuine belief in our potential for growth. Client's often seek services to gain insight into their experience of emotions, relational patterns, past trauma, and present functioning. Together, we work to illuminate a client's story with regard to their past, present, and future goals.
My Background and Approach
I provide therapy for individuals across the lifespan. Difficulties in adulthood often stem from longstanding patterns of relating to ourselves and others that are no longer serving us. Through greater awareness of these patterns and our internal emotional world, we are better able to cope and connect. For children, external circumstances can be confusing and internal emotions can be overwhelming. I provide a playful space for processing and learning coping skills. I also partner with parents to help them increase their capacity to connect with their children and hold loving boundaries to support regulation. Additionally, I offer psychological assessment across the lifespan to aid in diagnostic clarification regarding: autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disorders, cognitive impairments, behavioral needs, giftedness, developmental delays, and social/emotional issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I offer Telehealth services for anyone living in the state of Colorado or a PsyPact state. I am committed to anti-racism work and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community am a queer affirming therapist. I offer sliding scale services as well as receipts for insurance reimbursement.
