About My Clients
Most clients come to me because past therapy hasn't helped. Although it has been helpful it hasn't actually fixed the issue they are struggling with. That is where my speciality of treating the root of the issue comes in handy. You probably are pretty self-aware, have lots of great things going for you, but struggle with a sense of emptiness. You might even be a perfectionist and people-pleasers. If this is resonating, I am your type of therapist!
My Background and Approach
Our connection is vital for change and transformational outcomes. That is why creating a safe place for you is my priority. I need you to trust you can be vulnerable so we can extract the roots that are causing so much emotional turmoil for you. I use therapy models like EMDR, CBT and techniques from DBT to help you work through your breakdowns and gain confidence in your ability to handle life as it shows up.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I get what it’s like to live in a state of fear, helplessness and hopelessness. I know that a worried mind and hopeless heart, leads to restless nights, panic, and little hope for a better tomorrow. I understand that caring for yourself when you feel like your world is falling apart, can feel out of reach. I see how past wounds can continue to haunt the present moment. I recognize that getting help is not easy and it’s unfamiliar. Since I am aware of all this, I wholeheartedly applaud you for taking the first step in caring for yourself and seeking assistance. I know this therapy stuff works and because I do, I know as a team, we can get you to breakthrough your breakdown.
