About My Clients
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Trauma Professional, and Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional, with 10 years of experience helping youth and adults overcome obstacles sustained through life’s challenges, including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity concerns, behavior issues, relationship problems, and family conflicts. I have helped adults with childhood trauma through a holistic and trauma-informed approach to inner child healing.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is based on each client individually. Everyone is different, so I use techniques and theories that best benefit you whether you're coming to therapy due to life changes, childhood trauma, relationship issues, or if you're struggling with depression and anxiety; I am here to help. The approaches I have used with my clients have been trauma informed, CBT, DBT, IFS, client centered, and a holistic approach for the mind-body-and soul.
Why I Became a Therapist
One of the many reasons why I became a therapist is because I never saw a therapist who looked like me, so I chose to become one. Over the years, it makes me happy that we are growing in numbers in this field.
