I am a late-diagnosed autistic adult with lived experience in navigating supports and accommodations in educational settings. I have treatment experience in helping autistic young adults navigate challenges with relationships, sensory experiences, and coming to terms with their own identity.

I have lived experience as a cis gay male in navigating challenges with family relationships, friendships, and who to trust or not trust with information about my identity. I have treatment experience in helping queer people across the spectrum navigate those same challenges.

I have lived experience as a Black male in navigating oppressive systems in education, mental health care, and complex mixed-race family relationships. I have treatment experience in providing support and validation for BIPOC in realizing the intersectionality of race, mental health, and other identities in the context of education, family relationships, and the difficulties of seeking out mental health services in an oppressive healthcare system.

I have over 1 year of experience in facilitating twice weekly DBT groups in a residential setting, incorporating concepts from standard, expanded, and neurodivergent-friendly DBT manuals. I have completed training to become certified in DBT.

I have treatment experience in helping individuals identity their various parts that stem from early and current family relationships and how they intersect with each other. This often leads to insight into our behaviors in relationships with ourselves and others.

I have treatment experience in prioritizing the therapeutic relationship as a gateway to learning and practicing skills to navigate relationships with family, friends, and other providers. This builds a relationship that allows for clients to witness and process helpful skills in communication, setting boundaries, and experience validation in ways they might not experience from anyone else in their life.

I have treatment experience in helping to discover their various parts stemming from early family and current relationships. I am able to help clients understand how they conceptualize and behave in certain types of relationships and why they do so. This can often serve as a catalyst for changing behaviors if a client wishes to do so. Or hold that knowledge to gain acceptance of their current relationships.
