My Background and Approach
I am an ordained Presbyterian Minister of Word and Sacrament and Licensed Marriage and Family therapist and I am trained to integrate spiritual and faith aspects into treatment upon your request. I have focused my efforts and research in the areas of assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for childhood, adolescent, and adult disorders. I have coordinated and collected data for research in the standardization of new and updated diagnostic assessment instruments. My areas of expertise include: ADHD, behavior problems, Learning Disorders (Academic Achievement), and Pervasive Developmental Disorders (Asperger’s, Autism, etc.). My background and training includes: biological sciences, diagnostic appraisals, and family systems theory.
