About My Clients
I specialize in working with neurodivergence, grief, trauma (complex trauma, generational trauma, historical trauma, attachment trauma, etc), anxiety, identity exploration, social justice & anti-capitalism issues, self-esteem, and depression. I center anti-oppressive, anti-racist, neurodiversity-affirming, sex-positive, fat-positive, disability justice, and trauma-informed values in my practice.
My Background and Approach
As a relational therapist, I center compassion, curiosity, and work collaboratively to uncover parts of yourself that need gentle tending, while honoring both familiar & emerging strengths. I support clients in reconnecting with their intentions for healing, growth, and self-understanding through somatic tools, narrative practices, and deep inquiries. I believe in the power of tending to grief, joy, intuition, and rest as meaningful acts of resistance and self-connection. I know the body can be the site of a lot of wounds, judgements, & shame, making it hard to access, but in collaboration, we can help hold the painful parts so that you can adapt beyond just surviving and towards post-traumatic blooming.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have an intersectional approach draws from narrative, relational, somatic, and liberatory therapies. I'm committed to centering anti-oppressive, neurodiversity-affirming, fat-positive, and sex-positive care - as well as working to deconstruct dominant cultural narratives that shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. I support clients impacted by trauma, systemic harm, and social marginalization, offering a space that is nonjudgmental, empowering, and affirming. Guided by harm reduction and trauma-informed values, I hold space for clients to process trauma, reclaim personal narratives, & feel more at home with themselves.
