Accepting Clients

Hi, I’m Brit, a neurodivergent and highly sensitive expressive arts therapist.

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Asheville, NC

About My Clients

I bring a creative and gentle approach to my therapy practice. I believe that we are capable of becoming our authentic selves in a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. I seek to provide a space where you are seen for who you are, and bravely encouraged to explore the difficult parts of your life. I focus on working with people who are pregnant or postpartum, as well as with folks navigating low self-worth, career challenges, anxiety, creative blocks, depression, and/or grief.

My Background and Approach

I approach each session based on your needs. My approach integrates evidence-based psychotherapy practices with various creative practices such as drawing, painting, and/or writing to help you experience, express, and understand your emotions. During our time together, we will explore and discover supportive ways to nurture your mental health and wellbeing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me spending time with my family or friends or making art that sometimes get finished. Exploring with my kiddos, listening to podcasts, making photographs, and avoiding the laundry pile are some of my favorite hobbies. If you want to learn more about how I can support you, send me a message. I look forward to connecting with you!
